I'm preparing to use my 2020 AWD 2.7L twin-turbo Nautilus to tow a camper. According to what I've heard, this model can tow either 2000 or 3500 pounds. How can I set up my Nautilus so that it can tow up to 3500 pounds?
Oh, wow! It seems I was the only one who didn't know about this towing capacity. @Racer_queen97 your post helped someone, haha! ty!To hit the 3,500-pound towing capacity, you’ll need to make sure your Nautilus has the factory towing package, it includes a Class II trailer hitch and the necessary wiring. If your vehicle doesn’t have it, you can have it installed at the dealership or through an aftermarket shop, but ensure it meets Lincoln’s specifications. Also, don’t forget to check your tongue weight and brake controller settings for safety.
I agree, the factory towing package is key for hitting that 3,500-pound capacity. Installing it at the dealership or an authorized shop ensures everything meets the proper specs. To hit the 3,500-pound towing capacity, you’ll need to make sure your Nautilus has the factory towing package, it includes a Class II trailer hitch and the necessary wiring.
