Water leakage issue after washing 2021 Nautilus

After washing my 2021 Nautilus, I noticed an annoying issue: water started leaking from the tailgate and running down the bumper. It wasn't just a small drip; the water ran the entire width of the tailgate. I tried using a blower to push the water out, thinking that might help, but it didn’t solve the problem. Even though the leak didn’t seem severe, it was frustrating, and I wondered if I needed to open and close the tailgate repeatedly to fix it. That didn’t seem like a very practical solution in the long run.

Has anyone else encountered this, or know of a better way to fix it?

Ohh really??? I’m not the only one dealing with it? Still a bit frustrating, though, if anyone’s found a way to minimize the leak, I’d love to hear about it

It might be normal to some extent, as water can collect in certain areas after a wash. However, excessive water buildup or leakage could indicate a seal or drainage issue.

Might be worth giving the tailgate seals a quick check to make sure they’re not worn out or sitting wonky.
Good suggestion....I’ll check the seals to see if they’re worn or misaligned. Let me see if that solves the issue without needing to repeatedly open and close the tailgate.

That makes sense. It might just be normal water buildup, but I’ll keep an eye out for any excessive leakage or seal issues just in case.
