Anyone else experiencing a water leak in their 2019 Nautilus? Mine started a few weeks ago, right around the top-right corner of the tailgate.

This started at 63,158 miles and it's a slow drip, but it's definitely noticeable, especially during the rainy season here in Florida. I've checked the obvious stuff like the rear window seal, but no luck so far.

Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated!

The black body plugs under the rear taillights can leak over time. I know a friend who had almost the same problem with an older model. He fixed this by sealing the plugs and drying everything out. Do you have a boroscope camera? It could help you inspect the plugs for leaks and see if it confirms what I say.

A water leak in the tailgate area can be tricky to diagnose. I explored several possibilities before ultimately calling in a professional. He recommended clearing the drainage channels and tightening any loose bolts or fasteners around the tailgate, which ultimately resolved the issue.

The leak in my case started around the cargo area and spare tire compartment, with water making its way down through the upper right speaker and onto the cargo mat. It even reached the rear passenger floorboard. I am kinda looking for a solution, too.

I had exactly the same problem you described in my 2020 CPO I got in Jan 2024. Dealer had car for 3 weeks. took down headliner, etc. Told me it was panoramic sunroof drains and they were cleaned out and all is good...until next rain it happened again. I got dealer to take trade my car for another 2020 CPO with a little money added from my side....but very reasonable considering I drove the first car for a year. Hope you find a fix before car starts smelling bad!

Another possible cause of the water leaks could be cracks in the liftgate welds, letting the water sneak in and mess things up.
That’s a solid point! Cracks in the liftgate welds could allow water to seep in, causing leaks and other issues.

My 2019 is leaking now. Rear passenger floor and spare tire well wet. Currently at the dealer. Taking the headliner down is costing a fortune. Still no definite source. I'll update.
