Auto-activating rear heat

Anyone else's rear defroster got a mind of its own? My Nautilus keeps kicking on at startup, even though I religiously switch it off before shutting down. Is this some kind of "smart" feature gone rogue, or a classic case of electrical gremlins? Before I start pulling fuses, I'm curious if this is a common quirk or if my ride's just extra frosty. Anyone got tips on troubleshooting this, or is it time to consult the car's electrical exorcist?

So, there is a setting that turns on the defroster automatically if the temp outside is below a specific point.
