Clunking noise when turning right

My 2019 Nautilus is acting up! It's making this awful clunking noise whenever I turn right, and it sounds like it's coming from the left front wheel. So annoying! It's totally fine when I turn left, though, which is super weird. I'm worried it's something serious, like a suspension problem or maybe a bad CV joint. Anyone have any ideas? I'm taking it to the mechanic soon, but I'd love to have some idea of what I'm talking about so I don't get ripped off. Any tips on what to look for or what questions to ask?

That clunking noise when you turn is probably from worn-out suspension parts, like the tie rod ends, sway bar links, or control arm bushings. They get loose and make that noise. It's a pretty common issue. Have you talked to your dealer about it yet?

Sounds like a bad CV joint or a worn suspension component (like a control arm bushing or ball joint). Ask the mechanic about axle wear, tie rods, and strut mounts..

Yeah, it could totally be something with the suspension, but don’t forget to have the mechanic peek at the steering components too—stuff like the steering rack or any bushings that might be a bit loose. Those can make some funky noises when you’re turning. And while they’re at it, might as well have them check the wheel bearings too, just to be safe!

What mileage is your car and how old? I guess it is the "age" speaking.

Were you able to take it to the mechanic yet? Did they figure out what’s causing the clunking?
