Hello everyon! Is it possible to change the oil by removing it through the filler cap on a 2019 Nautilus? I think that considering the oil filter is located at the top, it seems unnecessary to crawl under the car just to drain the oil from the plug. Any thoughts?

For a proper oil change, it's best to follow the standard procedure of draining through the drain plug and replacing the filter even if it's a bit more effort. So looks like crawling under the car is a must whether you like it or not:LOL:

I wouldn't recommend draining oil through the filler cap, using the drain plug ensures complete oil removal and aligns with guidelines.

While the filler cap might seem convenient, draining through the plug is the proper method to avoid leaving old oil behind. It's worth the extra effort for a more thorough change!
