Park Aid Fault After Hitch and Light Kit Install

I just got a hitch and trailer light kit slapped onto my 2019 Lincoln Nautilus. Ever since, every time I throw it in reverse; I’m hit with this "Park Aid Fault" message. Funny thing is, my ride doesn’t even have park aid - like, what’s the deal?

Anybody else dealt with this kind of nonsense after a mod like this? Is there a way to fix this error or disable the message?
 
Looks like the hitch and trailer light kit may have triggered a sensor or system conflict; even though your Lincoln doesn’t have park aid. Some trailer mods can throw off the car’s electrical systems, causing false warnings. Try disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, sometimes a little reset is all it needs to clear up the error.
 
Thanks! I’ll give the battery reset a try and see if that clears things up. If not, I guess I’ll have to hit up the dealer and see if there's a way to ditch that specific message. Honestly, I don’t even need park aid, so it’d be awesome to just get rid of that annoying pop-up for good!
